I love my betta and have been striving to give him the best life I possibly can. That being said, I hated having to look online for specific information because it was often super hard to find and often conflicted with other sources. This book is excellently compiled and even though I don't see myself necessarily breeding bettas in the future, the sections on care and disease were very helpful! I wish I had this starting out!

Although I've been raising Bettas off and on since the 60's, I decided to do a little bit of catch up research before jumping in again. I feel that this book was the perfect resource for that goal. Well written text that is easy to follow. If there's ever a new edition, I would like to request at least an appendix listing conversions from Metric to US measurements for those of us "across the pond" to use. I've highlighted many helpful hints in the book and made notes for the Metric conversions. A good reference for anyone wishing to keep and or raise Bettas.

The book on betta fish. Contains all the info u would ever would need. And has tons of pictures, of all the styles being bread. Read this book before u buy your first betta fish, or your next one. PS i keep my fish in two gallon glassdruns filled half full. With plastic plates covering the bowl. This cuts down on evaporation. i like to keep a live plant in each bowl.

This is a great book. It has more complete information about genetics, breeding, care & natural history & the history of the betta as a domesticated animal than any other betta book I could find. The author’s discussion of breed development over the history of betta keeping was really fun.

One of the better books on betta fish keeping. For the beginner or for a mediocre person excellent reading material.

I highly recommend this book for beginners and experts alike! It is well written and easy to read. The section on Betta history is particularly interesting.

Helpful for communicating with my Armenian friends in their native language. On a side note, it’s nice being able to order directly from some of my favorite restaurateurs even if my spicing preferences tend a little more toward Lebanese.

Good dictionary if you want to learn a language.

I found this dictionary and phrasebook quite helpful for basic purposes. But in asking my Armenian friend (speaks Eastern Armenian as her first language) for help, she was saying some of the things in the book (mostly grammatical items) were incorrect. Then I didn't know which things I could trust as accurate.

I have had a hard time finding Eastern Armenian language resources so this was a treasure. Small enough that I carried it in my handbag the whole time I was in Armenia. There were only a couple of minor corrections made by my Eastern Armenian friends on a few words. Highly recommend.

I bought this book for my husband, who is not Armenian, nor does he speak it. And Im so surprised how well he's learning the language. This book is helping him a great deal! I love the lil notes he writes for me in Armenian.

Well done and very helpful. Organization is good and most phrases listed will get you through the country without too much trouble.

I used this dictionary and phrasebook enough that it fell apart while I was traveling in Armenia. It was ok for travel but I would not recommend it for study. My wife who is Armenian found many errors in the book when I would ask "Am I correct in my pronunciation?", she would respond "What!? Nobody says that, say it this way." The book also lacks many commonly used phrases that should have been included as well. As other reviewers have noted, the phrasebook and dictionary is Romanized and lacks Armenian script so is not useful for reading signage. A very good English-Armenian dictionary (not phrasebook) can be found while traveling in Armenia though, and uses Armenian script. It is titled English Armenian Dictionary and is a green and black book printed in Yerevan. It cost me 3000 dram while I was there, the equivalent of approximately $9 USD.

Totally useless, romanized, no accent marks given to indicare which syy\llable to be accented. Only useful for someone already familiar wit the language.

I've really come to love Haynes' "workshop manuals." They're great books for anyone seriously interested in learning more about the inner workings of historic vehicles, modern-day restoration, and insights into everyday maintenance and use.That said, this entry in the series is kind of underwhelming. There's a few nice overview diagrams of the aircraft's systems, but as a whole, it's lacking in detail. The book seems to take a broad look at the P-51, never really going into the same level of detail many other Haynes titles provide. The sections on the aircraft's anatomy, flying qualities, and maintenance are awfully basic, compared to the Haynes books on the F-86 and Spitfire, to give two examples. Many important aircraft systems are skimmed over in a couple paragraphs, while the section on post-war racing Mustangs goes on for eight pages.There are plenty of nice photographs, including a nicely done photographic essay on the restoration of P-51D 44-13521 "Marinell," and the stories of wartime P-51 pilots were interesting to read. The checklists at the end, showing every step of a 25-hour and 100-hour inspection, demonstrate how much work it takes to keep a high-performance military aircraft flying. And you thought changing your car's oil was a pain! This book would make a nice introduction to the type, but kind of falls short as a technical study. Don't go in expecting exploded views of propeller pitch mechanisms, close-ups of the undercarriage locking pins, or diagrams showing the locations of lubricating points, and you might enjoy it.

I was quite disappointed when I received the book. I was expecting something more along the lines of the Haynes car manuals. Cutaways, assembly instructions, specifications, etc. This book has numerous photos of a restored P-51 but not to anything near original.If you just want photos of a P-51, it's fine. If you want lots of details for building an accurate model, save your money.

It's an interesting addition to my library but falls short of what a P-51 Owners' Workshop Manual could have been. When you consider that a P-51 can almost be built all new today, there could have been much more detailed technical information. The book is probably aimed at a much broader audience that just wants a broad overview.

Would like to have seen the markings of the aces and their units. I like the nose art and think more could be provided.

This guide is very informative for new as well as current iPhone users. I have been an iPhone user for several years now and I found the information in this book extremely helpful. I currently have the iPhone 5s but I will be getting into the 6s very soon and I will definitely be referring back to this book to help me with things that are new to me. I know there are a lot of changes from the 5s to the 6s so I am happy someone took the time to write a user friendly guide like this.
