My wife, daughter and I started a wellness/detox program under the care of a functional medicine dr. and strength and toning exercises are part of it. We got thrèe weeks admission to a gym with the program but spent most of our time there looking up how to do the exercises prescibed. This book is a lifesaver. Explains the names, muscle groups used, and how to perform each exercise. Also what not to do. Excellent book. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to exercise, no matter what intensity.

Bought this on a whim. I am in physical therapy school and find this book useful to analyze certain exercises. I like that the book informs me of ways to make exercises harder or easier with little alterations of the exercises. Very vibrant and great purchase. I would recommend.
