Benchmark maps are the best off road maps on the market, outside of the National Geographic trail maps for the specific areas you plan to visit. The trails in S. Nevada are marked with numbers and this map details out most trail numbers, its a good representation of the trails in the area. Anytime we go off roading in a new state we pick up a copy of that states Benchmark map, they are great.

I like that it provides specific regional, recreation, Landscape and Metro Area sections of maps. Nothing important is left out. Well worth the money!

Extra heavy duty map book! I love it!

This atlas was a godsend when the family were traveling through Nevada. Incredible references while on the road and we learned a lot about our native state.

Live these maps own several, they cannot be beat.

It’s regurgitated basics we all know to undertake: sale on Amazon, do an audiobook, join Facebook groups, etc etc.much of the book is spent telling you why you should write a book and how easy it is now. Everyone needs to write a book! That is the takeaway from this book...oh...and to use this authors promotion company to advertise your book once you get yours done. There are so many contradictions and useless info that I’m mad I finished it. He comments he spent $25,000 to get his book out, but hey, you can still get your book done if you have a low budget of only a few thousand dollars! What? Uhhh....yeah, what indie author even has $20 to spare? My point is I was hoping for a book to give me solid pointers in increasing my visibility and sales. This is not that book. The author spends a lot of time giving you anecdotal information that points back to his promo company. At one point he even says don’t waste your time with Twitter, yet at end of book implores you to follow him on Twitter and stresses this is the best place to contact him. ohhhh, and he even makes the comment that direct sales of your book is not the point. Your book should drive sales to your other business (yeah, like your promo company!) again, if you’re a fiction author or any author that isn’t involved in putting out a book for your day job, then skip this one! If a person refuses to pay the =to coffee and way less than a pack of cigs well then they don't need to read an authors work. To be fair authors did this to themselves and Amazon helped wanting folks to buy their e-readers and come on their site for free books and then run off to BUY other products. About the Author

Margot Datz is an in-demand painter, illustrator, and mural artist based in Martha's Vineyard. Her work has appeared in House and Gardens, Home Magazine, InStyle, the New York Times, Rolling Stone, Publishers Weekly, The Boston Globe, Newsweek, and many regional publications, as well as CNN and NPR's "All Things Considered." Dustin Hoffman bought her first piece of art. Other clients include Diane Sawyer, Garth Brooks, Billy Joel, and Carly Simon. Datz has maintained a close creative affiliation with Carly Simon, designing and moralizing her nightclub Hot Tin Roof and her homes, and illustrating four of her children's books, with Jacqueline Onnassis as editor.Datz began her career as a sculptress and exhibited regularly in one-woman and group shows in Manhattan, New Orleans, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Boston, and Martha's Vineyard. In 1978 she established Margot Datz Designs, specializing in murals and architectural trompe l'oeil, decorative painting, and interior design. She has created murals for a number of children's hospitals, dozens of prominent businesses, hundreds of homes, and the Martha's Vineyard Steamship Authority Ferry Terminal, which receives over one million tourists and travelers annually. Datz also creates original paintings, exhibits annually, and is a well-established island painter. Enamored and bemused by the New England region, Datz developed her own indigenous iconography based on lighthouses, sailors, fishermen, mermaids, and their interplay with the great blue sea. Her archetypal approach to her surroundings addresses humorously and compassionately contemporary living and loving dilemmas as modern folk.

I wasn't sure if I could relate to this book..even though I WAS a mermaid years ago. It was a time here in theSouth when underwater shows with mermaids was popular. I enjoyed each and every page and found myselfdrifting back to a time of fantasy and not a care in the world. The author's writing and paintings were awesome.

A delightful read, beautifully illustrated. Bought two, so that I could give one as a gift and keep one. Well, I need another as I gave mine to another girlfriend. Hmmm, better buy 2 more.... this makes a gorgeous and personal “just because” gift for Landlocked Mermaids of all ages... 15-90!

Absolutely magical book, destined to be beloved by the mermaid in your life - and truth be told, in this day in age many women find themselves wondering whether they're secretly a mermaid (perhaps spurred in that direction by Tori Amos, in her Silent All These Years, perhaps by Ariel; you decide).I'd actually received this as a gift, and turned around and purchased several copies to give to others. Fun little work of art.

This guide is wonderful. Humorous and speaks volumes. A must have for Mermaids and mermaid lovers. The pictures were great, too; they really helped to get the point across.

This was a coffee table book at a beach rental. Liked it so much bought 3 - one for me and each of my two grown daughters (swim-team kids). Every women needs a copy to revisit and renew! Magically done in terms of content and presentation.
