Beautifully written and will move you to tears. Lots of insight in this book. Highly recommend to all clinicians who have the privilege of working with postpartum women.

This book goes the distance. Well researched, respectable, and clearly based on years of hands-on practice with this population. It reads like a thoroughly cited journal article, yet is enjoyable and holds attention. Not dry by any means. It is clear that the author cares deeply about women and families who experience postpartum difficulties. A book that is a worthy addition to any clinician's library regardless of specialty population or theoretical leanings.

This is an accurate, interesting, informative, and thoroughly enjoyable read. I recommend it for anyone working with postpartum women, especially counselors/therapists.

Definitely a good intro to astral travel, but I would recommend purchasing the kindle version and saving yourself the extra $10. If you're looking for more depth and information, this is not the book for you. This barely grazed the many topics of astral travel and did not include much detail.

This book explains how an outer body experience can either be induced or accidentally experienced. It discusses the physiological aspect of how an astral projection can occur, what history it beholds and how one can travel the astral plane. I think anyone would enjoy reading this book regardless of how scientifically inclined they are. What I would have appreciated more would have been some references or actually backed up material that could authenticate the material. Otherwise, It was a good read.

Her presentation are readily understood, even if the reader is skeptical. Such remains true with ASTRAL PROJECTION, a short guide exploring the history of the practice and its procedures. Even if one considers this practice "New Age" (it's not, as its history shows), this guide is still a useful short read.

My recent interest in the energetic world eventually led me to the topic of astral projection and a need for practical sources of info on the topic. This book was very practical in length, tonality and completeness. Definitely recommend it to anyone just beginning their journey.

This book is so inspiring and powerful! It's helped me over come years of PTSD I suffered as a child through the religion I was forced to be apart of. This book has truly changed my life!

EVERY woman MUST read this!!! So empowering! I've read it several times - it nourishes my soul. I would love to meet Ms. Cabot and thank her for writing it. She is so talented.

The word "Witch" holds negative connotations for most people. What Lauri Cabot does in "The Witch in Every Woman" is to help women understand why those negative connotations infringe on what it means to be woman.I found the book to be conversational in tone, and could feel the author's desire to impart her wisdom to women in hopes of improving their lives. She is not dogmatic, and does not preach. She retells ancient Celtic myths and demystifies them, helping women (and men if they so choose) to apply them in their daily lives. There are meditations and rituals that can be used at the end of each chapter. I learned so much from this book, and have used it as a starting point for studying. She brings up many subjects that can be researched for a more in depth discovery.If you are a woman who is fed up with the way that women are viewed and treated in our society, who longs to feel powerful, who yearns to create magic and to embrace ritual in her life, this book is for you!

This has very good information about general planning. Unfortunately, its not the up-to-date version that reflects the changes in the estate tax exclusion ($5 million plus) nor the spousal exclusion carryover. The author tries to lighten up what might be considered a dull subject with some humorous references - as I went through the book I found them becoming tiresome. I used it as a refresher "course" and it was beneficial.

Bought for my mom and she seemed to find it easy to use and understand.

This book is totally out of date on the estate tax. The book appears to have been written before 2009. Don't buy it!

But when I was asked if I would do Boudoir, my initial response was 'sure, I can do that', shortly followed by 'oh heck, what have I got myself in to?'! Thanks to Kay's straightforward book, I was able to pull off some great photos that my client really liked. If you are looking to get started in this bourgeoning field, you can't go wrong with her guide.This book is a well-organized compendium of recipes for success, applicable to beginners through advanced photographers. What makes Kay's approach so accessible is her careful use of un-complicated lighting setups, together with inspired posing and prop suggestions. It's easy to get overwhelmed with elaborate equipment demands in some tutorials, but Kay keeps it really simple (only 4 different light source combinations, plus window light, are used throughout the entire book), emphasizing instead how much you can do with relatively few light sources and modifiers.During the course of our first session, I found myself turning to this book over and over again, not only to remind ourselves of what we had planned for the day, but also to bounce ideas off the client by showing the amazing sample images in the book as a source of inspiration for both of us. Being as the formulas were relatively simple, I soon was able to produce results as flattering as the sample images, and soon had the client's confidence.Boudoir photography turned out to be one of the most challenging assignments I had encountered, but with the help of Kay Eskridge's book, I was able to both overcome my anxiety, and produce some photographs that both my client and I can be proud of!

The photos are very good, the layout is very user friendly, and the explanations of how the photos were done are well explained. This is a great little book for the hobbyist or photo buffs wanting to learn more - certainly not an end-all volume on how to shoot boudoir photography, but well worth getting and there's good information in here along with some very nice work. I'd recommend this one, but wish it was a hardback book, just don't care much for paperbacks! For the money, it's plenty good enough.

Text is OK, but schematic illustrations are bad - it is hard to guess how exactly softbox or other light sources were placed, also, there is no mentioning of focal length of used lens for specific photo. But hey, this book is cheap. Too bad there is no downloadable (and printable) version in PDF. Some other publishers of similar book, will give you printable version as well, along with kindle book purchase.

This book is straight to point about how each photograph was set up and shot. Camera type, Lens used, F stop setting, shutter speed and lighting. I just received the book a few days ago so I have not done any of the covered shots myself but since the information is so direct I have faith that my photos will look great with a little trial and error.
